WELCOME EARTH INTO YOUR SOUND
FORM
EXPERIENCE YOUR INSTRUMENT LIKE NEVER BEFORE AND REDEFINE THE BOUNDARIES OF YOUR EXPRESSION
THE SPARK THAT BREATHES LIFE INTO YOUR SOUND
The humble pick is the very first contact in your signal chain and should rightfully be treated as such. Few players actually know that the plectrum determines the output of your instrument. Not just the velocity but the attack, the transients - even EQ! Anyone interested in getting the most out of their instrument should be very considerate of the prime mover and this is where TΣRRΛ ⏚ PLΣKTRΛ enters the scene! The dense, hard glazed surface of the ceramic pick yields impressive dynamics, untethered tone and clarity, while enduring the relentless wear of the strings like no other material!
Every guitar player knows that tone comes from the fingers. So where does that leave us who play with a plectrum?
DELIBERATELY CONTOURED FOR BETTER GRIP, LESS STRAIN AND EFFORTLESS PLAYING
Upon closer inspection of the human body, we come to realize that the fingers are indeed not flat - so why should our plectrums be?
The concave contours are thoughtfully carved into the malleable clay to make the picks fit the players grip perfectly. The intricate shapes, although providing the plectrums with their outstanding signature look, are not merely aesthetics! When less force is required to hold the pick steady we are more relaxed and less likely to get injured from extended jam sessions.
To help you determine which plectrum is best suited for you, see the image carousel below. If you have in-depth questions about the grips or picks in general, don’t hesitate to ask!
Ceramic plectrums are not only about unparalleled tone and exceptional ergonomics—they're about crafting for longevity and sustainability!
ECO-CONSCIOUS DESIGN FOR SUSTAINABILITY
It may go against the grain of typical business models, but I firmly believe in creating functional, beautiful items that you don’t have to replace every few weeks. The dense, hard glaze of our ceramic plectrums not only delivers punchy, clear transients but also withstands months or even years of rigorous playing! Unlike traditional petrochemical-based picks, our ceramic edges won’t break down into microplastics that can enter your body.
Choosing TΣRRΛ ⏚ PLΣKTRΛ’s ceramic picks is not just a better choice for the environment; it's a wise investment in your own well-being. Join us in shifting the paradigm and make a sustainable choice for your music!

Think about it this way: We use stainless steel utensils on our ceramic tableware every day and how often does your plates wear out? Compared to stainless steel the regular nickel-alloy strings on your guitar are relatively soft and will barely have any impact on the hard glazing on the plectrum. How fast a TerraPlektra might lose it’s edge is dependent on your picking and the amount of sheer shredding it is subjected to!

TerraPlektra picks are handmade in a one-person workshop, not mass-produced by machines in a factory. Nevertheless, musicians may apply for a discount in exchange for social media content, reviews and exposure to a large audience. If that’s you, send me an email at terraplektra@pm.me or fill out the contact form on the bottom of this page. I’m looking forward to your message!
